Bad graphics performance with Gnome 3 and ATI Catalyst driver (fglrx)

Problem:

• The graphics of the gnome-shell (Grome 3) is very slow with ATI graphics adapter.

Solution:

• Add the following line to the bottom of the file /etc/environment and restart the session

CLUTTER_PAINT=disable-clipped-redraws:disable-culling
